Let me explain, shortly after we built the buck's barn we installed a battery powered lighting system to aid in tending them during the evening and predawn hours. There are times when we go out to tend them and the barn light is on. One of the bucks had a bad dream and turned on the light to feel better. Besides running down the battery they are now up in the middle of the night and bored.
A bored goat is not a good thing.
Since they cannot sleep and they can see everything clearly in the barn it is now time to investigate all the yummy things that are just out of reach. From wires to feed buckets nothing is safe from them. So when we see the light on we hurry back to check on what mischief they are up to this time!
The common offender is Zippo since he is the tallest in the barn.
