This year it was time to paint all the barns on the farm. One by one each got a fresh coat of paint. Then we came to the does barn. We knew this was going to be fun. You see goat are VERY CURIOUS. So as I come around to their side of the barn, here they come.
They roll out of the barn to take a look at what I am doing. First they think the ladder is a cool thing to rub on, this is a bit unnerving when you are on it and they keep rubbing on it. As I continue to paint the newness of this toy starts to fade and one by one the goats leave.
EXCEPT one, there is always one who keeps you company. As I work my way down I get off the ladder and the real fun begins. We have always used a nontoxic farm paint, you will understand why in a moment. As I paint away I look over and see one of the does licking the barn siding! You see barn paint is sooo yummy. Well it is now time to tie up the girls while I finish painting and the paint has time to dry!
