Today, we celebrate Memorial Day. It is not about a day off, picnics, and barbecues. It is a solemn day to remember those who gave their lives for this country. My late father was a World War 2 combat veteran. In fact most of my family are veterans, most were combat veterans. None of them talked about the action they saw. That alone I have learned speaks of what they saw and went through.
So as you enjoy your long weekend, please take a moment to reflect on all those who died to allow you to be free.
Remember Freedom is NOT FREE, it has been bought and pay for with blood of Patriots.
