On days that we are home for the day, we let the ducks, chickens and geese out to roam. We let the chickens and ducks out first. Then we go over to let out the geese. We have a few chickens that have figured things out. They know the geese have not eaten all their feed and there is a free meal to the early birds. The geese on the other hand just want to get out and forage.
But there is a problem Houston.....
......there is a big bad chicken guarding the gate!
Do the math the chicken weighs maybe three pounds, the geese weigh in at fifteen to twenty pounds each. But all seven geese will not pass this one chicken. I have to shoo the chicken so the geese can go free.
......So beware of the chicken at the gate.......
