Most of you have heard the expression "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!
Well that is how we dug out from the blizzard. On the right, is a picture of the path to the tractor barn. It took two days to get here. First we had to dig out all the livestock, some were entombed in their shelters. With God's Grace we did not lose a one!
On day two, we started to dig a path to the tractor barn. Once there, we got out the trusty snow blower and cleared a path for the tractor. The snow was so deep (3 feet) there was no place for the tractor to dump it. So the snow blower was the best option.
