Well......by the good old calendar today is April 3rd.
It has already hit 80 degrees this season.
Yesterday the sun was out, the birds were singing, and the grass was green.
Contrast that with today......
I was shoveling 5 inches of snow off the steps and clearing a place to give the ducks and chickens their morning feed. I had long johns on, two coats, a wool hat, and snow boots. By the time morning chores were done, my feet were numb and my hands were aching. I just had to suck it up, this is farm life in the mountains!
