Our new pasture is now open for the goats. The new pasture is 165 by 35, we opened it up to them late on Saturday. They so love the new greenery to graze on, so with this open we can cut the old pasture. It has gotten over grown with weeds they do not like. Also with the cooler temperatures and adequate rainfall the area will not burn.
Next year we are thinking about opening up the hillside for them by using a poly rope that you can electrify. The neat thing about this fence is you only need to set posts every 50 feet instead of the normal 10 feet. We will see what next year brings.
